Bob learned the fresh produce industry literally from the ground up. He spent high school summers transplanting celery and harvesting lettuce in the Salinas Valley.

Shortly after earning a BS in Business Administration from United States International University (formerly California Western University) in San Diego, Bob returned to his native Salinas and worked as a dispatcher for a local grower-shipper-packer. He soon went into sales and ultimately worked his way into management.

In time, Bob decided he could better serve his customers by moving from sales in a large grower-shipper-packer to representing them as their produce broker.

Nearly a decade after becoming a produce broker, Bob felt the entrepreneurial spirit and decided to create Robert Kasavan Marketing. The company was founded on providing the best service to our customers. The business has experienced remarkable growth and has earned an outstanding reputation in the industry verified by trade publications.

Broker/Agent Profile:  Kathy Vosti

Customer favorite Kathy Vosti performs dual roles at Robert Kasavan Marketing. Kathy's responsibilities include broker/agent and administrative duties.

A Salinas Valley native, she was exposed to the produce industry early on. She learned the produce brokerage businesses and worked with future owner Robert Kasavan while both were employed at another firm.

Kathy's dedication, people skills and positive response from customers made her a natural to join and play a leadership role at Robert Kasavan Marketing.

Outside the office, Kathy has been a leader in the community as well. She has run the local 4-H Camp for years. She also volunteers her time to help in numerous other local activities. Not just another volunteer, Kathy is truly a model citizen.
